A man from Exeter has received a prison sentence totaling eight and a half years following convictions for rape and additional crimes.
Colby Hill, aged 22 and currently without a fixed address in Exeter, also known by the name Colby Seatherton, was convicted at Exeter Crown Court on Tuesday, February 3.
The charges included two counts of raping a woman, allegations he contested.
During the sentencing hearing on Monday, March 30, the court sentenced him to eight and a half years in prison.
Additionally, he was subject to a one-year extended license period and was issued an indefinite restraining order.
Hill also admitted guilt to charges of intentional strangulation along with two other non-sexual offenses, which he agreed to at the beginning of the trial.
