DEVON MAN DENIES HISTORIC CHILD SEX OFFENCES AT ASSESSMENT CENTRE
Robin Griffiths, aged 65, of Mines Road, Bideford, Devon, has been accused of multiple historical child sex offences.He has pleaded not guilty to seven counts of indecently assaulting a boy under the age of 14.
Griffiths appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court alongside Angus Riddell following their arrest in relation to a police operation investigating the alleged sexual and physical abuse of men and women when they were children.
The offences are said to have occurred at the former Coed Glas Assessment Centre in Abergavenny, with accusations spanning from the 1970s to the 1990s.
The trial has been scheduled for January 18, 2027, with an estimated duration of three months.
Griffiths denies all the charges against him and has been remanded on conditional bail by Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke, the Recorder of Cardiff.
