A man identified as Robert Mason has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term of 14 years following his conviction for grooming and sexually abusing a young girl who was described as extremely vulnerable.

Mason, aged 50 and originally from Hull, was found guilty of a series of disturbing crimes that involved exploiting the child's trust and innocence.

According to court reports, Mason subjected the young girl to a series of heinous acts, including forcing her to watch pornographic material and coercing her into posing for indecent photographs.

Among the most shocking evidence presented was a photograph depicting a baby being raped, which Mason had in his possession.

The court heard that Mason committed these acts both inside his lorry cab and during other clandestine meetings, taking advantage of the child's vulnerability.

At Hull Crown Court, Mason was convicted on multiple counts related to child sexual abuse and exploitation.
