Youngson, from Motherwell, pled guilty at Hamilton Sheriff Court and was fined £360.
The 37-year-old admitted to threatening to share revenge porn pictures of a man, which she called herself a ‘digital creator’ online, and vowed to share intimate photographs of the victim.
She made the threats at a house in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, in May after sources say he tried to break off their relationship.
A source said: “When he wanted to end things, she began harassing him and telling him she was going to post intimate pictures of him.” Youngson, who pled guilty at Hamilton Sheriff Court, was fined £360.
A police source said: “It was obviously very worrying for the person involved.
The police had to be contacted and it went to court.
She pled guilty and she walked away with a slap on the wrists.” Threatening to send or share an intimate photo of someone without their consent is a crime in Scotland.
Revenge porn laws were introduced in 2017 and anyone found guilty can face up to five years in prison.
