COLCHESTER MAN ASKED SCHOOLGIRL TO TOUCH HIM

A 62-year-old Essex man, Robert Kent of Lethe Grove, Colchester, has denied asking a schoolgirl to touch him inappropriately.

The prosecution, led by Isobel Ascherson, claimed that Kent had asked the girl to touch his naked penis and that she had refused.

The girl reported the incident to her family shortly afterward, leading to Kent's arrest in January 2023.
