TEEN SENTENCED AFTER GIRLFRIEND ARM-GRABBING INCIDENT
A 19-year-old named Callum Elias was involved in an incident during an argument at a sexual health clinic, where he grabbed his girlfriend's arm three times and tried to take her phone.He confessed to assault by beating.
Last month, Elias was sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court for robbery, but he had already participated in several rehabilitation sessions as part of his suspended sentence.
The magistrates at Colchester Court sentenced him to a one-year conditional discharge, citing his good adherence to probation conditions.
Additionally, he was ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £26 victim surcharge.

Elias's background includes an abusive upbringing, having been stabbed at the age of nine.
