STALKER WHO PUT ON 'MICKEY MOUSE VOICE' TOLD EX HE WOULDN'T STOP UNTIL HE GOT HER BACK
A man bombarded his former partner with unwanted calls and messages and put on a "Mickey Mouse" voice when he spoke to her on the phone, a court has heard.Philip Solomon told the woman he wanted her back and said he "won't stop" until he gets it.
The court learned that Solomon's relationship with his partner ended in December 2024 and he was subsequently made the subject of a non-molestation order.
Shortly after the order was issued, he breached it by phoning his ex and then driving past her at Broad Haven beach, blowing kisses at her.
Solomon was convicted of stalking and breaching the non-molestation order, and in June this year was sentenced to a community order and restraining order.
Despite this, within weeks he resumed contacting his ex using false names on Snapchat, sending texts, and making repeated calls from withheld numbers.
During many calls, he used a "Mickey Mouse" voice, although his ex recognized him.
He also emailed his ex's sister.
The police arrested him on August 8 after these actions were reported, and he remained silent during his police interview.
The court was told the impact of his actions left his former partner feeling unsafe, constantly watched, and trapped in fear, losing her sense of security.
Previously, Solomon had pleaded guilty to stalking and related charges.
The judge sentenced him to 20 months in prison, with the possibility of serving up to half in custody before release on license, citing no prospect of rehabilitation at present.
