RUNCORN MAN JAILED FOR EXTREME PORNOGRAPHY AND CHILD ABUSE
A RUNCORN pervert who filmed a woman trying to have sex with a dog had been jailed alongside his paedophile son who was convicted of making and possessing indecent child images.Paul Riley, aged 51, of Limekiln Row, Castlefields, was given an 18 month prison sentence.
His son, Carl, aged 23, of Ullett Road, Liverpool, was jailed for three years.
The pair were sentenced at Chester Crown Court on January 9.
Police officers found 333 extremely pornographic images and videos which were grossly offensive in the possession of Riley senior.
They portrayed a person performing intercourse and sexual acts with dogs and other animals.
Riley senior admitted encouraging a woman to make a pornographic video, possessing the pornographic images and videos, 57 indecent photographs of children and three charges of making indecent photographs of children.
His offences dated from 2005 to 2012.
His son admitted possessing 53 indecent photographs of children, three charges of making indecent photographs of children and three counts of distributing indecent images of children between 2011 and 2012.
Cheshire Police has pledged to continue bringing sexual offenders to justice.
After the pair were jailed, PC Richard Deakin said: 'Carl Riley had used the internet to upload and distribute indecent images of children.
These images are shocking.
Behind every indecent image is an abused child and it is not acceptable to view or share images such as these.
Paul Riley used the internet to access extreme pornography.
He also engaged in indecent acts of a criminal nature that were equally extreme and graphic.
Cheshire Police work closely to identify offenders who are using the internet to commit such crimes and as technology advances.
We will continue to move forward and bring sexual offenders such as the Rileys to justice.'
