PAUL LIESSE FROM BARTON-UPON-HUMBER ESCAPES PRISON AFTER CHILD INDECENT IMAGES CASE IN HULL
In a recent court hearing held at Hull Crown Court, Paul Liesse, a 62-year-old resident of Barton-upon-Humber, faced serious charges related to the possession and distribution of indecent images of children, as well as possession of extreme pornography.The court proceedings revealed the disturbing nature of the materials found in his possession, which included a wide range of indecent images depicting children of various ages, from infants to teenagers.
Prosecutors detailed that Liesse was found with images that spanned all categories of severity, including some that depicted children being raped or subjected to torture.
These images were not only for personal viewing but also involved possession with the intent to distribute, indicating a potential for wider harm.
During the hearing, Liesse pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including possession of indecent images of children, possession with intent to distribute such images, and possession of extreme pornography.
The court was informed that the images contained highly disturbing content, emphasizing the severity of the case.
Despite the gravity of the charges, the judge sentenced Liesse to a 12-month prison term, but notably, this sentence was suspended for two years.
This means that he will not serve time in prison unless he commits another offence within that period.
Additionally, the court imposed a ten-year sexual harm prevention order, which restricts his activities and access to certain environments.
Furthermore, Liesse was ordered to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years, a measure aimed at monitoring and managing his potential risk to the community.
