MAN JAILED FOR 12 MONTHS FOR POSSESSING AN INDECENT IMAGE OF CHILDREN AND FOUR COUNTS OF SEXUAL COMMUNICATIONS WITH A CHILD
A man from Manchester has been sentenced to a year in prison after being found guilty of possessing an indecent image of a minor and engaging in four instances of sexual communication with a child under 16.
Paul Michael Buckley, aged 50 and residing on Church Street, was first detained on Monday, 5 December 2022.
He was formally charged the next day, Tuesday, 6 December 2022, relating to offenses committed between June and August of that year, as well as an incident from March 2021.
During the investigation, Buckley also recorded himself following a schoolgirl for several minutes at close range.
He admitted during police interviews that he had engaged in this behavior, acknowledging that he had done it before.
