PAUL ALLMAN FROM STOCKPORT TARGETED IN CHESHIRE AND NORTH WALES HUNT SABOTAGE

Paul Allman, a well-known figure in the animal rights activism community, has become notorious for his involvement in a series of disruptive and violent incidents linked to hunt sabotage activities. His actions have drawn significant attention from law enforcement and local communities in Cheshire, North Wales, and Stockport, where he has repeatedly targeted traditional hunting events.

On December 8, 2023, Cheshire magistrates court imposed a stringent five-year criminal behaviour order (CBO) on Allman. This legal measure was enacted after authorities documented multiple instances of anti-social conduct during trail hunts across Cheshire and North Wales. The court's decision aims to curb his ability to interfere with hunting activities, and it stipulates that Allman must refrain from attending hunt-related events within these regions. Furthermore, he is barred from entering specific hunt kennels and is prohibited from possessing items that could be used to disrupt hunts, such as chains, zip ties, hunting horns, or spray bottles. The order also forbids him from wearing face coverings in vehicles, being present near hunts, or facilitating transportation for others to attend hunt events. These restrictions were put in place following numerous complaints from local hunt groups, who reported feeling terrorized and intimidated by his actions.

Earlier in August 2023, Allman faced a 20-week custodial sentence after being convicted of a violent assault on two members of the Wynnstay Hunt in Cheshire in 2021. The attack was severe, resulting in one individual suffering a broken jaw and another sustaining injuries. The violence was part of a broader pattern of aggressive behavior, which included leading a mob that targeted hunt supporters with weapons such as hammers and a machete near Tybroughton in North Wales on March 1, 2025. A photograph from that incident appears to show Allman present at the scene, which, if confirmed, would constitute a breach of his existing CBO and could lead to further imprisonment.

Adding to his criminal record, a Facebook profile allegedly linked to Allman publicly endorsed the violence, further illustrating his support for aggressive tactics. His history of violence is extensive; he previously attacked hunt members in Cheshire and was convicted of assault in 2018, which involved breaking a victim’s jaw and injuring their eardrum. His pattern of threatening and intimidating behavior extends to vulnerable groups, including a 15-year-old girl and an elderly person, leading to additional charges and convictions. During his time in incarceration, Allman has expressed support for radical animal liberation groups, some of which are classified as terrorist organizations in the United States. The press office of the animal rights movement has even encouraged followers to write to him, highlighting his connections to extremist groups.

Overall, Paul Allman’s actions and affiliations paint a picture of a dangerous individual deeply involved in violence and criminal activities related to his activism. His repeated offenses and ongoing defiance of legal restrictions underscore the serious threat he poses to public safety and the traditional hunting community in the regions of Cheshire, North Wales, and Stockport.
