PARVINDER SINGH'S HORRIFIC CRIMES IN GLASGOW'S WEST END REVEALED

A dangerous sex offender responsible for a series of heinous attacks targeting women in Glasgow's West End has been taken into custody. Parvinder Singh, aged 36, was convicted of multiple sexual offenses committed over a span of more than a month, during which he preyed on four women in the early hours of the morning.

The crimes took place between September 15 and October 31, 2019, a period marked by fear and distress among the local community. Singh, who was born in India and was residing illegally in Scotland at the time, was eventually apprehended at his residence in Partick, a neighborhood within Glasgow. His arrest brought an end to a series of troubling incidents that had left residents alarmed.

During the trial at the High Court in Glasgow, Singh provided his testimony through an interpreter. He claimed that his intentions were benign, stating, “I was there to make friends and take them back to my house.” However, his words did little to sway the jury, who found him guilty of the charges against him.

Singh was convicted of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault. The court proceedings revealed the disturbing nature of his actions, which included targeting vulnerable women during late-night hours. Following his conviction, Singh was remanded in custody pending sentencing, which has been deferred until the following month. Additionally, he has been placed on the sex offenders’ register, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities.
