PETERLEE WOMAN FACES TRIAL FOR ALLEGEDLY DRIVING AT EX-PARTNER IN HORDEN HAS NOW BEEN JAILED
A woman named Paige Catherine Wilkinson is scheduled to face trial later this year for allegedly intentionally driving her vehicle at her ex-partner, resulting in serious injuries.She has admitted to causing her ex-partner's injuries through dangerous driving during an incident on Fifth Street, Horden, on New Year's Eve of the previous year.
Wilkinson also pleaded guilty to failing to provide police with a breath sample following the incident in the early hours of January 1.
However, she denies wounding her ex-partner with intent to do so while driving a Vauxhall Zafira.
The case will proceed to a trial at Durham Crown Court, with the trial already scheduled to start on Monday, November 24.
Wilkinson, who resides on Yoden Road, Peterlee, will remain on bail until the trial takes place.
