A man who carried out a series of sexual offences has been sentenced to imprisonment following an investigation by South Wales Police.
Nicholas O’Connor, aged 35 from Cwmrhydyceirw, was handed a two-year prison sentence after being found guilty of multiple sexual offences.
He appeared before Swansea Crown Court on December 19 to face sentencing for seven counts of exposure, one count of attempted sexual assault, and four counts of sexual assault.
The trial revealed that between September 21 and October 23, 2024, O’Connor exposed himself to nine women in the Swansea and Merthyr Tydfil areas.
He also sexually assaulted two women, with an additional attempt at sexual assault involving one of those victims.
Despite denying the charges and pleading not guilty, O’Connor was convicted on twelve counts of sexual offences during his court trial.
