WALTHAMSTOW PAEDOPHILE NICHOLA MEZZADRI SENTENCED FOR MOLESTING SIX-YEAR-OLD GIRL IN BROMLEY

In a disturbing case that has shocked the local communities, Nichola Mezzadri, a resident of Forest Road in Walthamstow, was convicted and subsequently sentenced to two and a half years in prison for the heinous act of molesting a six-year-old girl. The incident took place during a family gathering in Bromley, located in south-east London, where Mezzadri was invited by a friend to attend a party on August 19, 2012.

According to court reports, the young girl was sleeping peacefully in her mother’s bedroom at the time of the assault. The attack occurred while the child was vulnerable and unaware, and it was only interrupted when her father entered the room unexpectedly. The distressing event left the family devastated and prompted immediate police action.

Police officers responded swiftly, arriving at the scene around 3 a.m. to arrest Mezzadri, who is of Italian origin, originally from Milan. The investigation was conducted thoroughly, leading to his conviction on January 8, 2013, after a trial that highlighted the severity of his actions.

Detective Chief Inspector Pete Thomas, from the Sapphire unit, expressed his thoughts on the case, emphasizing the bravery of the young victim and her family. He stated, “The victim has shown immense courage throughout this trial, which was no doubt very harrowing and distressing for both her and her family. I would like to commend the young victim in this case and her parents, without whom the conviction could not have been achieved.”

He further added, “My team worked tirelessly on this case. Their professionalism and tenacity has resulted in a dangerous individual being sent to prison. I hope this conviction will provide reassurance to all our communities that we will relentlessly pursue those who commit these dreadful crimes against children.”
