MAN ADMITS ATTEMPTED SEXUAL COMMUNICATION WITH CHILD
A man who engaged in online chats with individuals he believed were underage girls, but who were actually adult decoys, is scheduled to be sentenced next month.Nathan Missing, aged 25, previously acknowledged committing five offences related to sexual communications carried out via online profiles he thought belonged to four girls aged 13 and 14.
These profiles were in reality decoys operated by adults aiming to identify and apprehend online paedophiles.
Residing on Cadogan Road in Cromer, Missing pleaded guilty to four charges of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a minor between December 11 and 13 of the previous year for sexual gratification purposes.
He also admitted to three counts of trying to incite a child under the age of 16 to participate in sexual acts.
Missing appeared before Norwich Crown Court on Monday for sentencing, although the hearing was postponed to allow a pre-sentence report to be drafted.
