MUKHTAR BAJWA SHOCKS WEST BROMWICH WITH SEXUAL ABUSE OF CHILDREN IN THE 1990S

A senior citizen from West Bromwich has been sentenced to prison for the sexual exploitation of two young children during the early 1990s. The victims, who had remained silent for years, eventually came forward to authorities, revealing that they had been subjected to abuse by Mukhtar Singh Bajwa between the years 1990 and 1995.

Following these disclosures, a dedicated team of detectives from the West Midlands Police's Public Protection Unit launched a thorough investigation into the allegations. Their efforts culminated in the arrest and subsequent trial of Bajwa, who is now 67 years old. During the legal proceedings, evidence was presented that led to his conviction on multiple charges.

At an earlier hearing held at The Park Hall Hotel in Wolverhampton, Bajwa was found guilty of two counts of gross indecency and four counts of indecent assault. These charges pertain to the sexual misconduct committed against the young victims during the specified period in the early 1990s.

The court sentenced Bajwa to a term of nine years in prison, reflecting the severity of his crimes.
