GP WHO GROPED CANCER SUFFERER'S BREASTS FOUND GUILTY OF SEXUALLY ASSAULTING THREE WOMEN
Mohan Babu, aged 47 and residing in Emsworth, Hampshire, has been convicted by a jury of four counts of sexual assault following a three-week trial at Portsmouth Crown Court.The court proceedings revealed disturbing details about Babu's conduct during his tenure as a general practitioner at the Staunton Surgery located on Civic Centre Road in Havant, Hampshire.
According to court evidence, Babu, a former doctor at the surgery, engaged in inappropriate and predatory behavior towards multiple female patients over a period spanning from September 2019 to July 2021.
One of the most egregious incidents involved him instructing a female patient to remove her top before groping her, an act that was described as both invasive and deeply unsettling.
The court heard that Babu targeted vulnerable women, many of whom were seeking routine medical care, but instead encountered unwarranted sexual advances and inappropriate comments.
It was also disclosed that Babu worked alongside his wife, Dr.
Aroline Rodrigues, 43, who is also a general practitioner at the same surgery.
The investigation uncovered that Babu was the most-complained-about doctor at the practice, with multiple warnings issued regarding his conduct.
