WOMAN CHARGED WITH MISTREATING CHILD IN HER CARE IN SWINDON
A woman has been charged with mistreating a child in her care in Swindon.
Mirjana Allaraj, 23, of Manor Way, Merton, is accused of assaulting, ill-treating, neglecting or abandoning a child or young person, causing unnecessary suffering or injury.
It is alleged that Allaraj was responsible for a child on May 6 in Swindon and behaved in a manner likely to cause him unnecessary suffering or injury to health.
Her case was scheduled to be heard at Swindon Magistrates' Court on December 18, but the hearing was adjourned because an Albanian interpreter was not booked.
She is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court on January 5 to enter a plea to the charge.
