MILES EVANS SENTENCED IN WARMINSTER FOR BRUTAL MURDER OF NINE-YEAR-OLD ZOE EVANS
In April 2014, Miles Evans, the man convicted of the horrific murder of nine-year-old Zoe Evans, was officially denied parole and will remain incarcerated for several more years.This decision comes after a long and complex legal process that has spanned over a decade, highlighting the severity of his crimes and the justice sought by the community of Warminster and beyond.
Back in June 2013, it was announced that Miles Evans, who was 24 at the time of his arrest, would be eligible to apply for parole once his tariff period, set to end in February 2014, had elapsed.
Despite this, the parole board refused his release, citing the gravity of his actions and the need for ongoing punishment and rehabilitation.
Evans, who has consistently maintained his innocence regarding Zoe's death, was convicted of her murder in April 1998.
