MICHAEL MEREDITH FROM PONTARDAWE ESCAPES JAIL AFTER CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CHARGES IN SWANSEA VALLEY

In a case that has shocked the Swansea Valley community, Michael Meredith, a 39-year-old resident of Maes y Cornel, Rhos, Pontardawe, was found guilty of possessing and downloading nearly 200 images of child pornography from the internet. The investigation into his activities was part of a broader police operation targeting online child exploitation, which ultimately led to his arrest and subsequent court proceedings.

According to court records, the police traced Meredith’s online activity back to the period between 1999 and 2002. During this time, he accessed numerous American websites hosting illegal content involving minors.
