MAN ADMITS SEXUAL HARM PREVENTION ORDER BREACH
A Chester man who violated a Sexual Harm Prevention Order has been given a community order requiring unpaid work.Matthew McFadden, 28, of Christleton Road, pleaded guilty at Chester Magistrates Court on September 14 to breaching the order for the first time.
Prosecutor Lucy McGowan stated the offence occurred in Ellesmere Port, where McFadden, without a valid reason, engaged in unsupervised contact with a minor under 16, which he was specifically prohibited from doing under his order.
This order was originally imposed by Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court in July 2014.
The court sentenced McFadden to a 12-month community order, which includes completing up to 35 days of a rehabilitation activity and 100 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay £120 in court costs along with a £114 victim surcharge.
