MARK AND ELIZABETH WILLIAMS OF LATCHFORD SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE
A couple involved in serious child sexual abuse offenses, including grooming and the production of indecent images, have been sentenced for their crimes.
Mark Williams, aged 44, and Elizabeth Williams, aged 43, both from Latchford, pleaded guilty and received prison sentences of eight and six years respectively.
During a police raid in 2014, authorities discovered a significant number of files, some encrypted, which contained images and videos depicting sexual assaults on a young victim, along with other illegal material such as material involving bestiality.
The court was told that Mr.
Williams was actively involved in facilitating the abuse, with his wife participating in the criminal activities.
Both individuals were convicted of multiple child exploitation offenses.
The judge described their actions as severely damaging to the victims and condemned their behavior during the sentencing.
