MARK MARWELL SENTENCED TO 12 YEARS IN PRISON IN STEVENAGE FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES

A man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after being convicted of multiple sexual offences, including rape.

Mark Marvell, 39, of Meadow Way in Stevenage, received his sentence at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, December 21.

Earlier this year, Marvell was found guilty of five counts of rape as well as several counts of possessing indecent images of children.

His prison term will be followed by an additional four and a half years on license.
