MARK DAVIS FROM CARDIFF SENTENCED TO ADDITIONAL FIVE YEARS FOLLOWING NEW ALLEGATIONS
A previously convicted paedophile has been handed an extra five-year prison sentence as a result of new allegations that emerged amid heightened publicity surrounding his earlier conviction.Mark Richard Davis, aged 58, was originally sentenced to 14 years in prison in 2016 for abusing schoolboys in Cardiff during the 1980s and 1990s.
Following the emergence of a new victim, police investigations uncovered that Davis, who had worked as a children's entertainer, had also abused this individual during childhood.
The additional sentence, to run consecutively to his original term, pertains to charges of indecent assault and gross indecency.
