KENYAN IMMIGRANT SHOUTS ‘F**K YOUR COUNTRY’ AS HE’S JAILED FOR TRYING TO SEXUALLY ABUSE GIRL
Abdirahman Osman, aged 44, caused public outrage after he attempted to sexually assault a 14-year-old girl in a busy park in Cardiff.The Roath resident approached a group of schoolgirls, calling them “sweeties” and expressing his desire to be their boyfriend.
When the girls rejected his advances, Osman ignored their refusals, inquiring about their ages and attempting to hug one of the children.
He then tried to persuade a girl to come back to his home, falsely claiming he needed assistance.
Once close enough, he asked her to perform a sexual act.
The girl managed to escape and returned to her friends, prompting immediate police involvement.
Officers detained Osman, who denied any contact with the girl.
Despite his denial, he was convicted of attempting to engage in a sexual act with a minor.
During his sentencing via video link from custody, Osman reacted angrily to the judge's decision, suddenly shouting “F**k your country!” before leaving the camera view and heading back to jail.
The victim told the court, “Since this incident I feel wary of people and scared of people who look like him.
I no longer go out alone and avoid Roath Park because it’s too distressing.” Judge Lucy Crowther sentenced Osman to two years imprisonment and mandated a 10-year registration on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
Further, Osman’s criminal history includes convictions for battery and robbery, indicating a pattern of predatory behavior towards vulnerable individuals.
