KIDDERMINSTER MAN GUILTY OF CHILD SEX OFFENCES INCLUDING RAPE
UPDATE 30/01/2026: At his sentencing earlier this month, Moody was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for count two - rape of a child under 13.He was also sentenced to eight years for count 1 - rape of a child under 13, eight years for count 3 - rape of a child under 13, 12 years for count 4 - rape of a child under 13, eight years for count 5 - rape of a child under 13, 12 years for count six - rape of a child under 13, and six years for count seven - attempted assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
The above sentences will run concurrently to his sentence of 12 years for count two.
Moody has a total sentence of 12 years imprisonment and will be on the sex offender register for life and must register with police indefinitely.
The start date of the notification was January 21.
———————————————————————— A man from Kidderminster has been found guilty of several child sexual offences.
Liam Moody, aged 34, of Radford Avenue, Kidderminster, stood trial at Worcester Crown Court last week charged with multiple child sexual offences.
The trial, presided over by His Honour Judge Burbidge, concluded on Thursday (November 28) where Moody was found guilty of seven charges.
This included six counts of rape of a child under 13 and one count of attempted assault of a child under the age of 13 by penetration.
He is due to be sentenced on Friday (January 16).
Moody has been remanded in custody until his sentencing date.
