LIAM CARTER SENTENCED IN MILTON KEYNES FOR SEXUAL ASSAULTS AT READING CROWN COURT
Liam Carter, a 31-year-old resident of Netherfield in Milton Keynes, was handed down a prison sentence of six and a half years at Reading Crown Court for his involvement in serious sexual offenses.The conviction comes after a comprehensive and detailed investigation into Carter’s actions, which revealed a pattern of unlawful and predatory behavior. The case garnered significant attention due to the severity of the crimes and the length of the investigation that followed.
According to court records, during the months of January and February 2022, Carter unlawfully entered a woman’s residence despite her clear and repeated protests that he was not welcome. Inside her home, he subjected her to two violent and invasive sexual assaults, actions that caused considerable distress and trauma to the victim. The police were alerted to the incident, leading to Carter’s arrest on February 1, 2022. After a lengthy legal process, he was formally charged on March 24, 2023.

She stated, “It is a top priority of Thames Valley Police to combat violence against women and girls in all its forms. This sentencing should serve as a message that this behavior will not be acceptable or tolerated.” She also highlighted the dedication of law enforcement to thoroughly investigating such cases, noting, “This case involved a lengthy investigation, but thankfully such cases are very rare. We remain committed to supporting victims and ensuring offenders are brought to justice.”
