A couple in City created a fake social media profile to catch a man attempting to meet what he believed was a 14-year-old girl for sex.

Katie and Neil Ivall recorded Craig Chapman, who arrived at a supermarket car park expecting to meet the supposed minor.

Chapman claimed he was 35 years old, but he was caught in the act and subsequently sentenced to 16 months in prison.

The operation was supported by police, and Chapman is now listed on the sex offenders register for ten years.
