ERSKINE MAN SENT INTIMATE FILM OF WOMAN TO SOMEONE ELSE
A court has heard that a man shared intimate video recordings of his partner with another woman.Lewis Marshall, from Libo Place in Erskine, captured the footage of the woman sometime between January 1 and 14 this year, as outlined in court documents.
He distributed the video through social media without her permission, with the intent to cause her fear, upset, or distress, or with recklessness about whether such outcomes would occur.
The crime, which took place at a residence in Dumbarton or possibly elsewhere, was considered an aggravating factor because it involved a current or former partner.
Marshall previously confessed to the charge and appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on May 12 for sentencing.
Sheriff Kevin Duffy ordered him to be under social work supervision for a year and required him to complete 120 hours of unpaid community service during that period.
The court did not issue a non-harassment order.
