LEWIS ANDERSON FROM DUNDEE ALLOWED TO WATCH LEGAL PORN WITH SOCIAL WORKERS' OVERSIGHT

Lewis Anderson, a resident of Dundee, has been subjected to a highly unusual condition following his recent court appearance related to serious criminal allegations. The 23-year-old was found to have possessed child abuse material, a charge that brought him before Dundee Sheriff Court. In addition to admitting to this offense, Anderson also confessed to being involved in the supply of cocaine on the same day, August 20, 2020, at his residence on Nithsdale Avenue, Dundee.

During the court proceedings, Sheriff George Way imposed a set of strict conditions aimed at monitoring Anderson’s behavior and ensuring he remains under supervision. One of the most notable conditions is that Anderson will be permitted to view legal pornography, but only under the strict oversight of social workers. He is required to inform social workers about the specific content he is viewing and to meet regularly with them to discuss the material. This arrangement is intended to ensure that Anderson’s consumption of legal adult content is closely monitored and that he remains accountable for his actions.

Sheriff Way clarified that if Anderson agrees to these conditions, he will be subjected to conduct requirements that include unannounced visits from his supervising officer. The sheriff emphasized that Anderson’s use of legal pornography will be carefully observed and discussed as deemed necessary by his supervising officer, with the goal of preventing any further criminal behavior and promoting rehabilitation.

In addition to these conditions, Anderson was sentenced to serve 18 months under social work supervision as part of a community payback order. He was also ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid community service. Furthermore, Anderson was placed on the Sex Offenders Register for a period of 18 months, reflecting the seriousness of his offenses and the ongoing need for monitoring and management of his behavior.
