STALKER JAILED AFTER THREATENING TO KILL EX WHO DUMPED HER FOR REFUSING TO TAKE PART IN A THREESOME
Lauren Adamson arrived at Tyler Seymour's residence carrying a knife following their breakup and left a disturbing note under his door. She also sent him threatening messages from multiple phone numbers.
On one occasion, she stated: "I know where you live, I know your workplace and address, n**." She added, "I'm going to come to kill you." Despite being arrested and subject to bail conditions, Adamson violated her restrictions by repeatedly harassing her former partner.
She received a 13-month prison sentence and a restraining order after admitting to charges of stalking, carrying a knife, and making threats to kill.
At Aylesbury Crown Court, it was revealed that the couple met via a dating app and entered into an informal relationship.
However, when Tyler expressed a desire for a deeper commitment and suggested a threesome, Adamson refused.
She later learned that he had a sexual encounter with another woman.
Following their breakup, Adamson launched a relentless stalking campaign, bombarding him with offensive messages and making false reports to police.
She also referenced some of his whereabouts in her texts.
On April 8, Adamson was detained and released on bail, with an order not to contact her ex.
Nevertheless, only three weeks later, she appeared at Tyler's home with a knife and threatened to kill him.
She also left a note under his door reading: "I miss you, let's be adults about this.
I know you want me, that's why I started stalking you.
Don't make me kill you because I will miss you.
Don't make me kill you." Tyler contacted authorities to report that Adamson had broken her bail terms.
She was subsequently re-arrested and charged.
During sentencing, Judge Alan Blake noted: "This is a difficult case.
I recognise that this was a short relationship and when it came to an end you found it very difficult to deal with.
It is plain from the psychiatric report, that you are somebody who has great difficulty in dealing with rejection and you have suffered with your mental health - rising from mostly likely, your ADHD, since you were young."
