KYRIL MCCLEAN FROM MALTON SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES INVOLVING A CHILD IN YORK

In a serious case that has garnered significant attention, Kyril John McClean, a 27-year-old resident of Yorkersgate in Malton, was brought before York Crown Court to face charges related to his inappropriate conduct involving a minor.

The court proceedings culminated in a conviction that has led to a substantial prison sentence, reflecting the gravity of the crimes committed.

McClean was found guilty on two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a girl who was only 15 years old at the time of the incidents, which occurred in 2016.

Judge Andrew Stubbs presided over the case and, after deliberation, sentenced McClean in May 2019.
