INVERKEITHING MAN CONTINUED TO STALK EX-PARTNER
AN INVERKEITHING man has been sentenced for further stalking offences against his former partner.Kieran Moore, 23, of Spencerfield Road, had already been convicted at Dunfermline Sheriff Court of similar offences which occurred a few weeks earlier.
During his latest appearance from custody, Moore admitted that on various occasions on February 17 and 18, he engaged in a course of conduct which caused his former partner fear or alarm by repeatedly phoning her and sending her text messages, all in the knowledge that this contact was unwanted.
He also admitted breaching bail conditions not to contact her on various occasions between January 27 and February 18.
Sheriff Alison McKay called for reports and Moore will be sentenced on April 18.
He was released on bail.
Moore was previously placed on a community payback order for offences against the same victim.
He bombarded his ex-girlfriend with phone calls and voicemail messages.
In one day alone, she received 119 missed messages.
Moore begged for forgiveness, then threatened to kill someone and also said in a message: “I’m not going to stop.
I don’t give a s*** about the consequences.” Between January 19-21, he engaged in a course of conduct which caused his former partner fear or alarm by repeatedly phoning her and repeatedly left voicemail messages for her.
During the course of these, he repeatedly swore, uttered threats of violence, made threats to harm himself, made offensive remarks, all in the knowledge that such conduct was not wanted by her.
Sheriff Chris Shead imposed a community payback order with 120 hours of unpaid work.
