SEX OFFENDER PREYED ON GIRL, 16, AND TOUCHED HIMSELF ON BUS
A 38-year-old Dunfermline sex offender preyed on a 16-year-old female on a bus.
He stared at her, made comments to her, and said he had an erect penis while touching himself.
Archibald Smith, of Craigmyle Street, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court by video-link from prison.
He admitted that on November 14 at Hill Street, Inverkeithing, he directed a sexual communication towards a 16-year-old girl without her consent.
He sat close to her on the bus, stared at her, repeatedly made comments about her appearance, stated that he had an erect penis, touched his genital area over his clothes.
He was on two bail orders at the time.
Sheriff Krista Johnston jailed Smith for nine months.
He was also put on the sex offenders register for ten years.
