SHROPSHIRE PAEDOPHILE KIERAN BOWERS JAILED FOR SIX YEARS
A convicted Shropshire paedophile has been sentenced to six years in prison after being found guilty of multiple child sex offences.Kieran Bowers, 27, from Ellesmere and now residing on Avondale Drive, Shrewsbury, was convicted at Shrewsbury Crown Court last week.
The crimes, which included four counts of sexually assaulting a girl under 13 by touching, two counts of sexual communication with a child, and two counts of breaching a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO), occurred between July 2022 and April 2023.
The case came to light when a friend of the victim confronted Bowers via WhatsApp.
Bowers also admitted to four charges of breaching the SHPO after being found in possession of internet devices he had not disclosed to authorities, and three charges of making indecent photographs of children were left on file.
Judge Anthony Lowe sentenced Bowers to five years for the offences, with an additional 12 months for breaching the SHPO.
Bowers remains subject to the SHPO indefinitely and is required to sign the sex offenders register for life.
He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £228 upon his release.
