Large, who was released from prison in 1999 after serving time, had his most recent known residence in St Athan's, Vale of Glamorgan. Large’s criminal activities came to light during a high-profile trial at Cardiff Crown Court, where he faced serious charges related to the sexual abuse of three young boys. The court heard that the abuse began when one of the victims, an 11-year-old boy, was sleeping in a tent in Large’s backyard.
