The victim endured a barrage of unwanted communication, with Miah repeatedly calling her and sending messages, sometimes reaching as many as 50 attempts in a single day. Despite her efforts to block him by creating new accounts, Miah persisted, demonstrating a clear pattern of obsessive behavior.

On one particularly harrowing day, Miah made an astonishing 155 voice and FaceTime calls to her, leaving her feeling overwhelmed and frightened. His threats escalated to intimidation, as he warned her that he would post intimate photos of her and her mother online if she involved the police further. In a shocking act of public humiliation, he also posted a picture of her and her mother on Instagram, along with their contact details, exposing them to potential online abuse and harassment.

Despite being arrested and subsequently released on bail with strict conditions not to contact her, Miah continued his campaign of harassment. During a court hearing at Cardiff Crown Court, it was revealed that he contacted her from a withheld number and issued a chilling message: 'Deal with it.' His words were widely interpreted as a threat to publish private photographs, adding to the victim’s distress. His threats extended beyond images, as he expressed wishes for her harm and made disturbing comments about her future safety and well-being.

The victim reported that the relentless harassment had a profound impact on her personal life, damaging her relationships and affecting her professional responsibilities. Miah’s history includes a prior conviction for disclosing a sexual photograph of another woman, which underscores a pattern of manipulative and coercive behavior.
