KEVIN HAWKINS FROM KEIGHLEY SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS FOR HISTORIC RAPE CASE
In a case that has spanned nearly four decades, Kevin Hawkins, a 63-year-old man from Keighley, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term of 15 years after being convicted of raping a teenage girl.The incident, which took place when Hawkins was 27 years old, involved a young girl who was only 13 at the time.
Despite his initial denial of the charges, the jury at Bradford Crown Court found him guilty after a thorough trial.
