KEVIN CHRISTIE FROM IMMINGHAM AND BLACKPOOL JAILED FOR SEX OFFENCES INVOLVING YOUNG GIRLS
In a case that has sent shockwaves through the local communities of Blackpool, Fylde, and Immingham, Kevin Christie, a 40-year-old man, has been sentenced to prison for serious sexual offences involving minors.The incident, which unfolded over the course of several months, culminated in Christie’s conviction at Preston Crown Court, where he was handed a one-year prison term after admitting to multiple charges.

He pleaded guilty to two significant charges: inciting a young girl to engage in sexual activity and possessing an indecent image of a minor.

Additionally, a Sexual Offences Prevention Order was imposed, which remains in effect until further notice, restricting his behavior and contact with minors.
It is important to clarify that neither of Christie’s offences involved any children at Baines Endowed Primary School in Blackpool, where he was employed as a teacher.
Authorities have confirmed that there is no evidence to suggest that Christie engaged in any inappropriate or abusive conduct towards children at the school, and the offences are unrelated to his professional role.
The first offence occurred on Wednesday, January 18 of the previous year, when Christie used Blackberry Messenger to incite a 13-year-old girl to partake in sexual activity.
This disturbing incident was part of the evidence that led to his arrest and subsequent conviction.
The second offence was uncovered during the investigation following his arrest on suspicion of the initial offence.
On Sunday, March 3, of the same year, police officers discovered an indecent image of a 14-year-old girl on Christie’s mobile phone, further implicating him in the criminal activity.
In a related development, Kevin Christie, formerly residing in Thornton, was scheduled to be sentenced after being found guilty of the same charges at Preston Crown Court.
His trial revealed that the first offence took place on January 18, 2012, when he incited a 13-year-old girl via Blackberry Messenger to engage in sexual activity.
The second offence was identified during his arrest on suspicion of the initial incident, with authorities uncovering an indecent image of a 14-year-old girl on his mobile device.
