MAN WHO SEXUALLY ABUSED YOUNG GIRL AS SHE SLEPT IS JAILED

Kane Fox has been sentenced to prison for sexually abusing a young girl while she was asleep.

The incident occurred after the girl attended a house party the night before and later discovered Fox in her bed.

The girl recognised what had happened and noticed her clothes had been pushed aside.

Fox, aged 29 and residing on Margaret Street in Immingham, was on bail at the time, following charges related to dangerous driving in Lincoln.

Reports indicated he was driving a stolen vehicle, failed to stop for police, and was involved in collisions with two other vehicles.

While Lincolnshire Police investigated Fox’s conduct, the court decided to combine the sexual abuse charges with those related to his dangerous driving.

Fox was sentenced to five and a half years in prison at Hull Crown Court after pleading guilty to engaging in sexual activity with a child under 16 and to dangerous driving.

Upon initial arrest connected to the sexual offense, Fox reportedly refused to make a comment.

He was subsequently released on conditional bail pending further inquiries.

After a lengthy and complex investigation, detectives managed to establish forensic links between Fox and the victim over a year later, leading to his re-arrest.
