BALLINGRY MAN 'LEARNED HIS LESSON' AFTER BREAKING HAND SMASHING WINDOW
A 23-year-old man from Capledrae Court, Keiran Lorimer, was involved in an incident at his ex-partner's home.According to court reports, Lorimer went to the house to collect his belongings after a breakup that lasted a year.
During the visit, an argument ensued, leading Lorimer to shout at his ex-partner and subsequently smash a window.
The incident resulted in Lorimer injuring his hand, which later required surgery.
He admitted to the charges at Dunfermline Sheriff Court and was penalized with a deferred sentence until September 16, allowing him to demonstrate good behavior.
His solicitor highlighted that Lorimer, who had consumed substances before the incident, fractured his hand during the act and has been unable to work since.
Despite the injury being self-inflicted, the court recognized the seriousness of his actions and the need for medical intervention.
