2008: CURRY POISON WOMAN JAILED FOR 30 YEARS

A STAFFORDSHIRE woman who tried to poison her husband with anti-freeze so she could collect his life insurance has been jailed for 30 years.

Kate Knight, 28, from Stoke-on-Trent, was found guilty of the attempted murder of Lee Knight by a jury at Stafford Crown Court.

Mr Knight, 37, was left severely disabled by her actions.
