CLACTON MAN JAILED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT FACES DEPORTATION
A SEX pest faces deportation after being jailed for assaulting a teenage girl and a woman at a talent contest in Clacton.Jorid Chowdhury, 33, grabbed his victims' crotches during the Clacton's Got Talent event at the Geisha Hotel on Marine Parade last year.
He was jailed for 12 months after admitting sexual assault at Chelmsford Crown Court.
The 15-year-old girl and 43-year-old woman were assaulted in separate incidents on October 20.
They are both from Clacton but not related.
Former chef Chowdhury, of Rosemary Road, was arrested later at his own home and charged.
He was jailed for 12 months and will be deported back to Bangladesh at the end of his sentence.
Chowdhury, who was held on remand after his arrest, was also placed on the sex offenders' register for seven years.
