DEVON PAEDO GUILTY OF SICK CHILD ABUSE IS SPARED PRISON
A Devon paedophile has been convicted of multiple sexual offences against a child.Jordan Day, now aged 27, managed to avoid justice for many years but pleaded guilty to nine charges at Exeter Crown Court.
He was aged 16, 17 and 18 at the time he sexually assaulted a seven-year-old child.
He also took indecent images of a child and distributed them.
Day admitted three charges of sexual assault on a child under 13, four of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, making indecent images of a child and distributing indecent images of a child.
The defendant entered guilty pleas at a court hearing on September 19 and returned to court to be sentenced on November 12.
He was spared prison and given a sentence of two years, suspended for 21 months.
The court was told he has psychiatric issues and vulnerabilities.
He must do 80 hours of unpaid work, 15 rehabilitation days with probation and a programme requirement.
He must register as a sex offender for the next 10 years.
