NORTH LONDON PAEDOPHILE AVOIDS JAIL DESPITE POSSESSION OF THOUSANDS OF ABUSE IMAGES
At Snaresbrook Crown Court on Monday (February 2), the 28-year-old former IT technician at The Latymer School, Jordan Cave, was found in possession of thousands of horrific child abuse images, including a video of the attack on a 12-year-old boy.
He was sentenced to a two-year suspended sentence, with a four-month curfew, 200 hours of unpaid work, 20 days of rehabilitation, 26 sex offender programme sessions, a 10-year sexual harm prevention order, and £800 in compensation.
The judge cited Cave’s autism, ADHD, immaturity, and psychological disorders as reasons for suspending the prison sentence despite the severity of the offences.
Cave had also written documents detailing fantasies involving children.
He was arrested after police discovered nearly 4,000 indecent images on his devices, including Category A images of children aged 4-11 who had been taped and raped.
Prosecutors highlighted the disturbing nature of the material, including a 10-minute video of criminal abuse at school.
He will be under supervision for 12 months and must sign onto the sex offenders' register.
