Jessica Hunt, from Par Street, Frankley, and her partner Jonathan Rounds, aged 35, were prosecuted by the charity for causing unnecessary suffering to Thor and a Staffordshire bull terrier named Bane, for a period of a 'few days up to a week'.
They both admitted the charges.
An RSPCA inspector initially attended their home on December 6, 2023, following concerns for an underweight dog.
Jessica refused entry, claiming she had guests for a birthday celebration.
Later that day, the RSPCA re-inspected and seized the three dogs, as two had very low body condition scores.
Thor scored a 1 on a scale where 1 is underweight, and Bane scored a 2, with the dogs suffering from worms.
Jessica Hunt was handed a community order at Birmingham Crown Court on October 21, and Rounds received a three-month sentence, to be served concurrently with a 14-year sentence for other crimes.
