A 61-YEAR-OLD MAN TRIED TO MEET UP WITH A 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL TO SEXUALLY ASSAULT AND RAPE HER
In December 2023, Jonathan Quinnell, then residing in Orpington, engaged with an online account he believed belonged to a minor.
In his messages, he expressed intentions to meet the girl and discussed sexually assaulting and raping her, according to court records.
The account he was communicating with was actually operated by paedophile hunters, who confronted him at his residence on December 20, 2023.
Now based in Bristol, Quinnell describes himself on LinkedIn as a psychic, hypnotherapist, life coach, healer, and author.
He admitted to attempting to meet a girl under 16 and to engaging in grooming and illegal sexual communication with a child.
On October 27, he appeared before Bromley Magistrates’ Court, expecting sentencing proceedings.
However, the magistrates deemed the case too serious for their jurisdiction and referred it to Croydon Crown Court for sentencing at a future date.
