CONVICTED PAEDOPHILE DENIES NEW MISCONDUCT ALLEGATIONS
A convicted paedophile named John Mack, aged 64, has denied behaving inappropriately towards children again. He is moving to Blackburn later in the week, but his specific address in Blackburn was not disclosed.
Mack is already on the Sex Offenders' Register for life due to indecent assault on two four-year-old girls in July 1995, as confirmed by Blackpool Magistrates' Court.
The court was informed that Mack was brought before it following claims that a 13-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy had visited his house.
Niamh Noone of Lancashire Police expressed concern, stating: "The police have very grave concerns about Mack and think there is a real risk of harm unless this order is made." Despite this, his defense, represented by Trevor Colebourne, insisted: "My client wishes to make it clear that he has done nothing improper and his conduct is entirely explicable." Mack voluntarily agreed to a court order banning him from associating with any child.
