In a recent court ruling, John Edwards, a resident of Reading, was officially placed on the sex offenders register following his admission to creating indecent images of children.

The case was heard at a crown court in Shrewsbury, where Edwards was sentenced last week.

John Edwards, aged 26 and living on Waldeck Street in Reading, faced serious charges related to the production of child abuse images.

The court found him guilty of creating more than 170 such images using his smartphone over a brief period from April 3 to April 6, 2012.
